Fee Policies
Fees are strictly payable before classes commence each term unless prior arrangement has been made. Fees that remain outstanding will incur a $15 administration fee. Failure to pay fees may result in your child losing their place in the class. After commencement of classes no refunds will be given. Lessons missed due to illness, family holidays etc will not be deducted (excluding serious injury and long term illness which will be considered at the discretion of the Directors).
Enrollments will automatically renew each term for the calendar year. Invoices are due in full prior to the commencement of each term. To avoid incurring term fees upon cancellation of enrolment, 2 (two) weeks notice must be given to Louise via email. If this is not provided you will be liable for the associated term fee.
Terms & Public Holidays
At Tararua School of Dance we follow a four term year (alongside the school terms). Term fees are calculated based on a 32 week dancing calendar year (Average of eight weeks in a term, so some terms you will have a bonus week or two!). Classes will not be held on exam days. All Statutory holidays are observed and where classes fall on public holidays no refunds or make up lessons are due. Make up classes will only be offered if this means that the dancing year will fall short of 32 weeks.
Supervision
Tararua School of Dance students are under supervision whilst in class only. Whilst we endeavour to provide a safe environment, teachers & staff cannot be responsible for students outside their class time. We strongly advise that Students be collected from the waiting room after class and that they do not wait outside the studio building. This is for the students’ safety.
